• West St. Paul Grocery Store Reportedly Closing After Posting Signs Saying It Would Stay Open (patch.com) — A major grocery option in West St. Paul, Oxendale’s on Bernard Street, is reportedly preparing to close by Dec. 23, with shelves already thinning and stock shifted to other locations. Employees were told the store will shut down and were not offered transfers, raising concerns for both workers and nearby residents who rely on the neighborhood market.
   

• Inaugural West St. Paul Good Neighbor Awards (weststpaulreader.com) — West St. Paul residents are being celebrated with the city’s first-ever Good Neighbor Awards, honoring four locals who help with home repairs, beautify shared spaces, and keep neighbors informed through the West St. Paul Reader. The program expands on past property awards to recognize everyday contributions that strengthen community pride and connection across the city.
   

• New Metro Transit route connects Woodbury area with MSP Airport and MOA (twincities.com) — West St. Paul riders now have a direct Metro Transit connection from Robert Street and Marie Avenue and Livingston Avenue to MSP Airport and the Mall of America via new Route 345. The hourly route links with Route 68, Route 75, the Gold Line, and other lines, restoring service to Newport Transit Station and shortening east-metro travel times significantly.
