• Vernon Swenson (marshallradio.net) — Family and friends in Windom and nearby towns are mourning Vernon Larry Swenson, a Vietnam veteran born in Windom who later farmed and drove truck around the country. His funeral is today, Dec. 16, at Highwater Lutheran Church near Lamberton, with visitation continuing one hour before the service.
