• 1 person injured in Highway 14 crash in Lewiston (postbulletin.com) — A 52-year-old Winona woman was injured when her westbound Buick and an eastbound Mercedes collided on Highway 14 near Lewiston, at Winona County Road 25. She was taken to Winona Health with non-life-threatening injuries and was not wearing a seatbelt. State Patrol and Lewiston emergency crews responded to the early-morning crash.
   

• Aggressive second half not enough in road loss at Winona State (keloland.com) — Winona State’s men’s basketball team protected home court at McCown Gymnasium, topping Sioux Falls 91–77 behind hot first-half shooting and a rebounding edge. Despite a gritty comeback try from shorthanded USF, the Warriors answered every run to stay in control. Local fans can take note of Winona State’s strong perimeter shooting and late-game composure.
