1. ‘Beyond frustrated': Camellia Street roadwork drags into 13th month, squeezing new business (wlox.com) — Camellia Street in Biloxi has been torn up for 13 months, leaving The Sanctuary entertainment venue and its tenants struggling as customers avoid the hard-to-reach area. A city contractor’s utility project, delayed by design issues and elevation changes, is now slated to finish around Dec. 19, but frustrated neighbors and the business owner say the city’s leadership should have stepped in much sooner.

Razor blades found in bread at Walmart (wtvy.com) — Customers at the Biloxi Walmart recently found razor blades hidden inside loaves of bread, leading the store to pull suspect products and police to open an investigation. Biloxi officers say more blades were discovered in other packages, and they’re urging anyone who bought bread there Monday to inspect it and report problems while they work with Walmart to find out what happened.

Actor Gary Collins arrested in Biloxi (Updated 9:55 a.m.) (sunherald.com) — Biloxi police arrested actor and former TV host Gary Collins after staff at Jazzeppi’s on Porter Avenue reported he left without paying a roughly $60 tab. Officers later found him at a nearby rental home, charged him with defrauding an innkeeper, and booked him into the Harrison County jail on a $5,000 bond.
