• Cattle ranchers doing well despite no federal aid (wlbt.com) — Cattle ranchers in Mendenhall are benefiting from strong demand and record-high prices, even though new federal aid is going only to row-crop farmers. Local rancher Stacey Broadhead says operations are profitable without government help, but warns that switching into cattle takes major investment, experience, and time.
