• Man killed in Tuesday Jones County shooting identified (wdam.com) — A man from Waynesboro is among three people taken into custody after a rolling exchange of gunfire that began in Jones County and continued into Wayne County, leaving one man dead and another wounded. Two suspects face aggravated assault charges and one faces domestic aggravated assault, with the investigation now in the hands of the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation.
