Affton's Tim Hill Named Girls Track Coach of the Year
The honor was handed out by the Missouri Track and Cross-Country Coaches Association.

Affton High School girls track coach Tim Hill is being honored for going the extra mile for his student athletes after being named the sport's 2012 Missouri Class 3 Coach of the Year by the Missouri Track and Cross-Country Coaches Association (MTCCCA).
Each year the honor is awarded to one coach from each of four classes for track in Missouri, as determined by votes from fellow MTCCCA coaches. In a press release from the school district, Affton Athletic Director Dan Oliver praised Hillβs coach abilities and his character.
βTim truly cares for his students and athletes, and works hard for them. He deserves this recognition,β said Dan Oliver, athletic director for Affton School District. βIt is a real pleasure to work with him, and even more so to count him as a friend.β
