Affton Schools Honor Teachers of the Year

Affton-area teachers were honored at the Affton Chamber of Commerce’s annual Exceptional Educators banquet on Thurs, March 14, according to a news release from the Affton School District.

Affton School District’s 2012-2013 Teachers of the Year include Lynn Hennessy, first-grade teacher at Mesnier Primary; Nicki Hejlek, third-grade teacher at Gotsch Intermediate; Beth Daniels, sixth-grade math teacher at Rogers Middle; and Cathy Cartier, English teacher at Affton High School, who is also serving as the Missouri State Teacher of the Year.
