Blind and Blindfolded Baseball Players Use Beeps and Buzzes
A field at the Affton Athletic Fields doesn't need lights.

Not all players who run the bases at the Affton Athletic Fields can actually see them.
A group of blind and blindfolded players play a game similar to baseball, but the ball beeps and the bases buzz so the players can find them, KMOX reported.
βThe players of Beepball canβt see the ball, they have to listen for itβs beeps. If the ball is hit in fair play, an umpire presses a switch and one of two bases buzzes. The blindfolded players must then reach the base before an outfielder grabs the beeping ball.β
