Charlie Dooley: Reversing HUD Senior Housing Would "Put a Taint on St. Louis County"
Many Oakville residents are demanding that St. Louis County reverse the zoning approval previously given to National Church Residences' senior housing complex. That would be bad for business, County Executive Charlie Dooley said.

As the project returns to the St. Louis County Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, one obvious question is: What are the legal and business consequences of potentially reversing the previously approved zoning?
“When people come to St. Louis County to do business, they want to believe if they go through the process and do what they’re supposed to do, it is a good project and they’re willing to move forward,” Dooley said in the St. Louis Beacon article. “This would put a taint on St. Louis County.”
