The Missouri State Highway Patrol saidΒ drivers shouldΒ call in andΒ reportΒ motorists who areΒ suspected of driving while intoxicated by dialing (800) 525-5555 or *55 from a cell phone.

Both agencies said the checkpoints are scheduled forΒ various locations known for having increasedΒ occurrencesΒ of alcohol-related drivers. That would be popularΒ short cuts and easy ways to avoid main streets.
