Affton will take a trip Saturday during the annual Affton Community Days Parade and Festival, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and St. George Parish.
The theme this year is "Affton Goes on Vacation."
A free parade begins at 10 a.m. at Affton High School. The 1.8-mile route will feature marching bands from Affton School District and , churches, businesses, organizations, and residents.

Residents can park on the Salem Lutheran upper lot and at Kuenne Accounting & Tax Service. Parking will also be available on the US Bank parking lot after they close at noon and on the Mid America Arms parking lot after 4 p.m.

Heege Road will be closed from Gravois to Aronia all day for the safety of festival guests.
