
The owner of a Honda Civic found out theΒ Shrewsbury Police DepartmentΒ was smart enough to see evidence hidden behindΒ lawn chairs.
On June 2, the Honda owner is suspected of hitting a 2011Β Chevy Equinox on the front driver side bumper and fender in the 7300 block of Brunswick Avenue.Β The Honda driverΒ left the scene without providing insurance information.
Later, the HondaΒ was parked at a neighborβs driveway with lawn chairs placed around the front drive side bumper and fender to hide the damage of the suspectβs Honda Civic.Β
PoliceΒ contacted the owner of the Honda and he admitted to causing the accident and not reporting it.Β The suspect was told he would be charged with leaving the scene of the accident once the estimated value amount ofΒ the damage to the victimβs vehicle had been determined.
