Seven Holy Founders Parishioner Charged With Stealing from Concession Stand

A parishioner working the concession stand at Seven Holy Founders has been charged with stealing from the church.Â
Stacy Funke, 30, was working the game during a girls' basketball game, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.Â
Prosecutors charged Funke, of the 7100 block of Cheshire Lane, on March 5 with stealing more than $500.

According to the Post, Funke was working the concession stand during a tournament on Dec. 2, 2012, when an envelope went missing from a cabinet inside the gym.
Funke then confessed to police that she stole the envelope, containing about $840, according to court documen, using the money to pay outstanding bills and other family expenses.

Bail was set at $7,500, the Post reports.
