Which Affton Teachers Should Play the Harlem Wizards?

Come one, come all and watch Affton School District teachers, administrators and staff take on the Harlem Wizards basketball show team.

The comedic basketball show will benefit the Affton Schools Mother’s Club, which buys school supplies that are beyond teachers’ budgets, like ABC rugs for kindergarten classes, which can cost hundreds of dollars.

The Mothers’ Club has 1,200 tickets to sell, and Laura Lanemann, the group’s secretary, says she thinks tickets will sell out quickly.

“We are really excited about it,” Lanemann said. “This is probably one of the biggest event the mothers club has ever put on.”
