Boxing, Fundraisers and Tie Dyes Events for the Weekend

Although Arnold City Park is closed, due to recent flooding, this weekend there are a few events to enjoy.

Tween Time - Tie Dye Dots

Bring a white t-shirt or two to Arnold Library and learn how to tie-dye in a fun dot pattern. Recommended for ages nine to 14, and all tie-dye skill levels are welcome. Sign-up requested to help library staff estimate supplies needed.

Saturday Nite Fights sponsored by Eagles Boxing Club

Eagles Boxing Club of Arnold, a non-profit, is sponsoring Saturday Nite Fights to raise money for its boxing gym. The gym is free for children and young adults ages 8 & older.

  • Fee: The tickets are $10 each, a ringside table is $100.00. Each table seats 8 people. Tickets sold at the door or sold in advance.

Greater St. Louis Book Fair

The annual event raises funds for organizations with education and literacy programs servicing children and adults in the St. Louis community. Items for sale include hardback and paperback books, records, CDs and comics.

  • Where: 80 W County Ctr, Saint Louis, MO near Macy's at West County Center
  • Date: Thursday through Sunday
  • Hours: 4-9:30 p.m. Thursday opening night and includes an auction preview from 6:30-7:30 p.m., auction at 7:30 p.m.; 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m.-10 a.m. Saturday for persons with disabilities then 10-9:00 p.m. general admission; 11 a.m.- 6 p.m. Sunday. 
  • Fee: $10 admission Thursday, free admission other days. Sunday is half-price day for purchases.
