Casting Call: NBC Talent Show Recruiting in St. Louis Saturday

NBC's "America's Got Talent" producers are searching for performers for the TV show's seventh season.

NBC’s America’s Got Talent show producers will conduct open auditions on Saturday and Sunday at the St. Louis Convention Center at 701 Convention Plaza.

Registration at the convention center is from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. To pre-register, go to www.AGTauditions.com. People of any age can audition.

Performers should visit the “Paperwork” page on the website for the list of items  needed for the audition, said Stuart Inman, an America’s Got Talent casting specialist, in a news release.

The auditions are an opportunity for performers to showcase their talents in 90 seconds to the show’s producers.

Successful candidates will proceed toward a $1 million prize and performing in front of America’s Got Talent judges Nick Cannon, Sharon Osbourne, Howie Mandel and Piers Morgan, said an NBC news release.

Every type of performer is welcome to audition—musicians, dance crews, magicians, contortionists, comedians, singers, jugglers, animal acts and everything in between—NBC said.

Performers unable to attend the St. Louis auditions can submit a video of their act to Inman.

AGT enters its seventh season, and the winner will perform in a three-night engagement in Las Vegas on Oct. 28-30 in Caesars Palace’s 4,500-seat Colosseum.
