Charter Comunications Changing Channels on Saturday

Remember to reset DVRs and other TV show recording devices.

Charter Communications is getting the word out that it is adding 28 new high definition (HD) channels and relocating more than 90 percent of its channels.

On Saturday, April 21, the Charter cable channels will change for Arnold and Jefferson County, said a news release and the Charter website.

“We want our customers to have the best in high-definition – from movies to series to educational shows,” said Sean O’Donnell, Charter’s Vice President and General Manager for Missouri and Illinois. “More than 60 percent of U.S. households enjoy HD programming, and we’re committed to providing our customers with the best HD experience. Adding these HD channels at no additional cost to customers helps achieve that goal.

“We also understand that switching channel locations may cause some customer confusion at first, but we’re starting early to educate our customers about the transition and we’re confident our customers will find the category-based groupings more convenient,” added O’Donnell.
