• Health Department releases food inspection reports for week of Dec. 7 (myleaderpaper.com) — Several Arnold restaurants, child-care centers, and concessions — including New China, Waffle House, Twisted Tavern, and Kizer Academy — were inspected by the Jefferson County Health Department during the week of Dec. 7, with scores ranging from 84 to 100. The report details specific violations, explains how scoring works, and notes which Arnold locations required reinspections or were considered low-priority with no score. 
• Arnold woman allegedly found with meth (myleaderpaper.com) — An Arnold woman is facing a felony drug charge after police say they found a substance later confirmed as methamphetamine under the passenger seat of a car stopped by Arnold officers for expired plates. She was already wanted on several warrants and remains jailed on bond while the case moves forward. No conviction or plea has been reported.
• Imperial man allegedly stole from Arnold Lowe's (myleaderpaper.com) — A man from nearby Imperial is accused of underpaying for flooring and other items at the Lowe’s on Arnold Commons Drive and is now back in jail after missing a court date. Court records say the alleged theft totaled more than $1,700, and a bond forfeiture hearing is scheduled in early January. No trial outcome has been reported yet.
