Arnold City Council Must Approve Ward Redistricting by Dec. 13
Arnold's Tourism Commission and City Council meeting are the only meetings scheduled for this week. Councilmen must shift 870 voters into Ward 1 and about 117 voters in Ward 4 due to the increase of residents in Wards 2 and 3.

Tourism Commission — at , 2101 Jeffco Blvd., on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
City Council Meeting — at City Hall on Thursday at 7 p.m. Agenda to be determined later in the week. The city council will need to discuss and approve a redistricting of the four Arnold voting wards by Dec. 13, the first day for eligible candidates to register for the April 2012 vote. Census results show the wards populations are unbalanced by 28 percent. The city must bring the wards' populations to within a 10 percent difference to comply the law.
