Fox Football's Placekicker Among the Best in the Region

Weighing 110 pounds, Nick Bartolotta was not the typical football player when he was a freshman, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. 

Now a 165-pound senior, Bartolotta has started to receive letters from college football programs, the website reported. 

Bartolotta is also one of the top high school kickers in the St. Louis metro area, prokicker.com states.

Bartolotta did not want to start playing football when he was a freshman, the site reported, but the coach asked Bartolotta to try the sport for a day to see if he could appreciate it. 

Bartolotta loved it, the website reported, and the rest is history.
