Fox Students at Holiday Reading Festival in Crestwood

Antonia Middle School, Clyde Hamrick Elementary and Richard Simpson Elementary students will participate in a fundraiser Dec. 2-4 to help two organizations.

Students from Antonia Middle School, Clyde Hamrick Elementary School and Richard Simpson Elementary School will participate in the Holiday Reading Festival at Crestwood Court Dec. 2-4.

Antonia Middle School students will display their artwork during the event. A Clyde Hamrick student choir will perform at 1 p.m. Dec. 3. Robert Simpson Elementary students will perform that same day at 2:30 p.m.

The Holiday Reading Festival features family activities that include a Scholastic Book Fair, visits from Clifford the Big Red Dog, Ms. Frizzle from The Magic School Bus book series, student musical performances and student artwork on display. In addition, Bruce Degen, author and illustrator of The Magic School Bus book series will sign books.

Everyone is welcome to attend the event. Event proceeds will benefit the Children’s Illustrated Art Museum and CHARACTERplus, which works to develop positive character traits in students across the region.
