I-55 Section to Close on Sunday Morning
Ameren work on Sunday will force MoDOT to close a portion of I-55 in Festus.
MoDOT will close a section of Interstate 55 in Festus, in both directions, on Sunday. At 5 a.m., southbound I-55 at McNutt Road and northbound I-55 at Route A will close for one hour.
Motorists should use Route 61/67 Â as a detour.
Ameren UE needs the road closed to complete work in the area.
