Jefferson County Government: Public Open House For Armbruster Road, Harness Road, And Doss Hollow Road Bridge Replacement Project

The presently slated improvements are as follows: Jefferson County, Missouri, is proposing bridge replacements, three total. One on Armbruster Road over Haverstick Creek, one on Harness Road over Tributary to Hocum Hollow Creek, and one on Doss Hollow Road over a Tributary to Plattin Creek. The existing structures are considered structurally deficient with posted weight limits on each. Armbruster Road Bridge will be approximately 30-feet longer than the existing  bridge. Doss Hollow Road Bridge will be approximately 34-feet longer than the existing bridge. Harness Road Bridge will be approximately 30-feet longer than the existing bridge. All three roadways will have a width of 24-feet with 4-feet shoulders on each side. The three bridges will have concrete bridge barriers installed on the structure with guardrail installed along the approaching roadway. Roadway work will be minimalized to only what is necessary to tie the new structure back into the existing roadway.

Written statements will be received and made part of the public hearing record if received within ten (10) working days after the date of the hearing.
