Jefferson County, Missouri, is proposing a bridge replacement on Sycamore Lane Bridge over Bear Creek. The existing structure is considered structurally deficient. Replace existing deteriorated single span bridge with a new, wider, and longer single span bridge. Project includes replacement of approximately 300 feet of existing pavement with 24 ft. wide pavement. The creek banks near the new bridge will be protected with Type 2 Rock Blanket and an existing 54-inch reinforced concrete pipe will be extended with flared end sections east of the bridge. Roadway work will be necessary to tie-in grades and the existing roadway. The total length of the project is 450 feet.
Tentative schedules for right of way acquisition and construction can be discussed at the hearing.
