Man Robs Commerce Bank on JeffCo Boulevard in Arnold

The Arnold Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that happened Tuesday, July 2, around noon.

A man walked into the Commerce Bank, located at 956 Jeffco Blvd., and presented the teller with a note demanding money.

According to Maj. Nick McBroom the note implied the robber had a gun. The teller handed the man an undetermined amount of cash and he left the bank walking north on JeffCo. 

McBroom said the robber is a white man between 5’11 and 6’2 tall and between 150 to 180 pounds. He was clean shaven with light-colored hair, and appeared to be in late teens to mid 20's in age.

He was wearing a white baseball hat with a Chicago Bulls basketball team logo on front. The hat has a dark-colored bill.

The man also adorned sunglasses, a dark-colored sweatshirt, khaki-colored cargo type pants and dark-colored shoes.
