Mass Casualty Drill Tests St. Joseph Students

The school's Teen Student Emergency Response Team practiced preparedness in case of a disaster during school hours.

St. Joseph School members of the School Emergency Response Team (SERT) trained in a mock "mass casualty" incident on April 15, the Rock Community Fire Protection District announced in a news release.

The Teen Student Emergency Response Team (SERT) is an elite team of teens trained by Rock Community Fire District to respond to emergencies in the event of a natural or manmade disaster at school. 

Nine schools participate in the monthly training.
