Missing Gnomes, Trespassing and Impersonating an Officer Charges are among the First Crimes for June
The following information is from the Arnold Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

June 5
Trespassing Charges — manager, on Richardson Place Road, reported an Arnold man, 18, trespassing on the property. Arnold police found the suspect on St. John Crossing, brought him to station, booked and jailed him in lieu of a $250 bond.
Garden Gnomes Stolen — A Robin Drive resident reported missing two garden gnomes from her front yard. The victim said the gnomes were stolen between 9 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday.

Stolen Catalytic Converters — A Eurocar employee, at 2010 Key West Drive, reported missing three catalytic converters from vehicles parked at the location. The theft is valued at $270.

Impersonating a police officer charge — People traveling in two vehicles near the intersection of Richardson Road and Briarwood Drive, stopped their cars and argued, police officers reported. Both drivers said they were assaulted and their vehicles damaged. One of the men in the argument showed an EMT badge and said he was a police officer, the report stated. Arnold police filed warrant applications with the county prosecuting attorney.

Search for Driver — An Amoco employee at 3998 Jeffco Blvd., reported a man driving a silver Oldsmobile Alero, with a Missouri State license plate issued from Imperial, pumped about $16 of gasoline and drove away without paying.
May 30
Assault, Domestic Violence Charges — Two Arnold residents—a woman, 19, and a man, 23 years old— face assault charges after officers were sent to Jeffco Boulevard. The suspects were booked, charged and held for 12 hours.
Loss of $4,000 in power tools — A victim living on Arnold Tenbrook Road reported missing about $4,000 in power tools from his pick up truck. He parked the truck, which had a camper shell, in his home’s driveway on May 29.
Missing Handicap Tag — After shopping in the 3600 block of Richardson Road, a victim reported missing her handicapped-parking placard from inside her car. The woman said she left her vehicle unlocked and the window open.
Theft Reported— A Bal Harbor Drive resident reported missing two wallets, $30 in coins and identification cards from her vehicle while it was parked in her driveway. The victim said the vehicle was unlocked while it was parked overnight, the police report stated.
Burglary Reported — An Airglades Drive resident reported missing a makeup box and gold metal chain from her bedroom nightstand that was near a window. The total loss is valued at $300.
Stealing Charges— store security, at 2201 Michigan Ave., reported an Arnold woman, 50, hid about $40 of merchandise and left the store without paying. Arnold police charged the woman and issued a summons.
Drug-related Charges — During a traffic stop in the 3600 block of West Outer Drive, an Arnold police officer arrested an Arnold man, 53, on marijuana possession charges. The suspect consented to a search of his home. Officers found marijuana, packaging materials and cash. The suspect was released while law enforcement applied for warrants.
