MoDOT to Change I-270 Barriers Overnight
I-270's middle lane, between Gravois Road and I-44, will be closed this week.

The Missouri Department of Transportation will move safety barriers and the lanes on northbound Interstate 270 prior to Wednesday night.
The changes will occur between the interchanges of Gravois Road and Interstate 44, along I-270, MoDOT said in a news release.
Wednesday morning, the two left lanes and the two right lanes of I-270Â will be open to commuters. The middle lane will be closed, MoDOT said.

The work is part of the I-270 bridge habilitation project over Rott Road and I-44.
At 7 p.m. tonight, MoDOT crews will move a barrier wall and change the lane stripes along that section of road.

The far right lane will exit to I-44 eastbound and the Watson Road ramps.
Motorists may face the congestion and delays as last week. Drivers should use alternate routes, MoDOT said.
Lane widths are reduced on this section of northbound I-270. The speed limit is lowered to 45 mph through this work zone.
