β€œMany thanks to those of you who have already completed this year's Farmland Value Opinion Survey. Farmers and landowners value this annual survey report,” said Ray Massey, University of Missouri Extension agricultural economist.

No governmental or public agencies in Missouri require the reporting of land values. The survey gives the best available estimates for tracts larger than 40 acres in Missouri, Massey said.

The online survey asks for the landowner’s opinion on the value of crop, pasture and forest/hunting land. β€œIf your work allows you to have an informed understanding of the value of land in your region, we encourage you to complete the survey,” Massey said.

The survey takes about five minutes to complete. Massey recommends filling out the survey on a computer or tablet rather than a phone.
