• Hole in Arnold Woodridge Estate subdivision to be fixed (myleaderpaper.com) — Homeowners in Arnold’s Woodridge Estate subdivision will finally see a massive backyard sinkhole repaired after the City Council approved a key stormwater contract this month. Work by Missouri American Water and Girdner Contracting is expected early next year, but the nearly $484,000 project cost will ultimately be divided among 119 subdivision homes, with flexible lien-based repayment options for residents, many on fixed incomes.
