No Social Networking Between Teachers and Students
On Aug. 28, a Missouri state law will protect students from sexual offenders.

It will soon be illegal for Missouri students and teachers to be Facebook friends, according to an article on Mashable.com.
State Senate Bill 54, which will go into effect on Aug. 28, will ban all social networking between Missouri teachers and students, the website reported.Â
The bill’s purpose is to protect children from sexual relations with teachers, the website stated.
