By noon on Tuesday, contractors had uprooted two large trees and all of the bushes growing on the hill.

They also found several truck tires abandoned on the site.
Within the next year, residents will see construction for a new CVS pharmacy and store.
Rubble from the CVS site will be used to level city owned properties where, the city hopes, a real estate developer or company will construct a new business building.
