The St. Louis region has the second largest average salary in Missouri. Kansas City has the highest average salary, says the St. Louis Business Journal.

The average salary in the St. Louis region, which includes Arnold, is $43,480 per year.

The region's hourly average salary is $20.90, says the St. Louis Business Journal website.

Kansas City has the states highest average annual salary, $44,060, and hourly salary, $21.18.
