Quick Photo — Meramec River Closes Entrance to Arnold City Park
Although little rain fell late last week, the Meramec River water levels rose 11 feet above flood stage and closed Arnold Park for the weekend.

The Meramec River's water levels fell to 31 feet today from a crest of 35.5 feet on Saturday.
The river floods when its water level rises above 24 feet, said the National Weather Service website.
The river's water level is expected to fall to about 27 feet by May 9.
