Red Cross Needs Donors, Hosting Drive in Arnold Thursday

The Red Cross has issued an emergency call for blood and platelet donors for the Greater St. Louis Area.

The call was prompted by a 10 percent drop in blood donors in June, according to the American Red Cross of the Greater St. Louis Region.

The most critical need is for type O-negative blood, type B-negative blood and  type A-negative blood.

There will be a blood drive in Arnold on July 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Jefferson College, located at 1687 Missouri State Road.
