Regional Businesses Expanding, More Openings Planned in Arnold

The St. Louis region economy had good 2011, according to data from SurePayroll Scorecard. 

The organization said, to the Belleville News-Democrat news website, that the region's number of employees increased by 3.2 percent and the average paycheck increased by about 10 percent.

SurePayroll Scorecard is a Glenview, IL based research company that monitors small businesses and analyzes payroll data.

SurePayroll CEO Michael Alter said, to Bellville News Democrat, that 2012 looks promising and that the St. Louis region may lead the charge in rebuilding the economy.

The Illinois newspaper reported that the owners of the Subliminal Grilled Subs & More restaurant, in O'Fallon, IL, want to expand their business by opening  another resturant in Arnold, MO in April.
