Residents Report Four Punctured Tires on Their Cars

The Arnold Police Department provided the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

July 2

Property damage —  A Melton Drive resident reported four punctured tires and paint damage to his car while it was parked in his driveway overnight.

Acting on a tip — Arnold police received a tip about an Imperial man, 27, wanted on warrants in Arnold and felony warrants issued in St. Louis County. The tip said the man was on Richardson Road. Police processed and detained the suspect in lieu of a bond.

July 1

Bicycle theft — A victim, at the , 1695 Missouri State Road, reported his bicycle missing from the front of the recreation center. The bicycle was valued at $150.

Stealing, fleeing a police officer — store security, at 2201 Michigan Ave., detained an Imperial man, 22, for allegedly taking merchandise. Two Imperial women, an 18-year-old and a 20-year-old, fled the scene but were apprehended. Police processed all the suspects and released them on court summonses.

Gunshot, self-inflicted wound — a June Drive resident shot himself at home at about 11 p.m., the St. Anthony’s Medical Center reported to the Arnold Police Department. The injured man said he was cleaning his .45 caliber gun when it discharged. The hospital treated the man and released him the next day.

June 30

Stealing credit cards, ID and cash — gas station employees, at 5 Municipal Drive, watched a video recording that showed a man, between the ages of 30 to 35 years old, took a wallet mistakenly left on the counter by another customer.

Daytime home burglary — A Rosewood Drive resident reported missing a Xbox 360 video game system valued at $600. The victim said the crime occurred between 6 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. that day.

June 29

Forgery, stealing — A Peach Road woman reported that a 39-year-old man visiting her took her personal checks, forged her signatures and cashed them for more than $500.

June 28

Multiple people arrested for stealing — store security, at 2150 Michigan Ave., detained four 19-year-old women and a 21-year-old man, all from Perryville, MO., for shoplifting about $364 in merchandise. Arnold police released the suspects on at the scene on court summons. 

June 27

Property damage — A Causeway Drive resident reported four punctured tires on his vehicle. The victim estimates the damage at $600 and believes the damage occurred while the car was parked overnight on June 24.

Stolen license plate — A Schneider Drive resident reported her vehicle’s license plate missing. The crime occurred between April 15 and June 17, she said.

Doritos and keys stolen — A Hawksbury Court resident reported keys and bags of Doritos chips missing from her unlocked car while it was parked overnight.

Stealing $600 in DVDs, fleeing — A security officer, at 3849 Vogel Rd., saw and tried to detain a man who attempted to steal $600 in DVDs. The suspect dropped the DVDs and fled in a red Jeep Cherokee, the police report said.
