Interstate 270 at St. Charles Rock Road — North bound right lane to close on Tuesday, April 5.

MoDOT will close the right northbound lane on Interstate 270 near Route 180, also called St. Charles Rock Road, to allow crews to conduct bridge repairs. Crews will begin repairs at 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 5. The work will occur continuously for several weeks.

Olive Boulevard and Route 141 — Lanes shift on April 7

MoDOT’s contractor will shift all four lanes of traffic on Olive Boulevard between Creve Coeur Crossing Lane and Woodchase Plaza after the morning rush hour on April 7, weather permitting.

The shift will allow crews to build the new Olive Boulevard and Route 141 interchange and bridge.

Traffic in each direction will shift slightly north onto a four-lane bypass constructed off Olive Boulevard. Speed limits through the bypass will be 35 mph during the shift.

Traffic will be rerouted until a new bridge is completed in September.

This work is all part of the $44.5 million project to relocate Route 141 slightly east of its current location. The project will reduce the possibility of flooding on the route, as well as reduce congestion and improve safety.  It includes new bridges and interchanges at Ladue Road and Olive Boulevard, as well as several miles of new pavement.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

  • I-70, St. Louis City, one lane closed on Broadway exit ramp from eastbound I-70.
  • I-64, St. Louis City, eastbound 11th Street exit ramp closed.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, Delor Street across I-55 is closed for bridge replacement
  • I-55, Jefferson County, on ramp from Route M to Southbound I-55.
