An Arnold family can breathe a sigh of relief now that the Rock Community Fire District has eased one of its fears.
The family feared they wouldn’t be able to escape a fire in their home, but the fire district donated a sprinkler system to Gregg and Debbie Maschmann and had it installed in their home for free. On Wednesday, Jeff Delapp with Rock Community Fire District completed the project.

Debbie told Fox 2 News she has multiple sclerosis, and heir home caught fire in September. Gregg was at home that day and got her out.
From that day on, their fear was what would happen if she were ever alone. Now they don't have to wonder.
Excel Fire Protection, Inc., a full service fire and security company based in Imperial, donated the system.Find out what's happening in Arnoldfor free with the latest updates from Patch.
