South County Mall Extends Hours for Holiday Shoppers

Five St. Louis area malls will close at 11 p.m. this week.

Five St. Louis area malls will delay their closing hours this week for holiday shoppers.

South County Center mall, Chesterfield Mall, West County Center, Mid Rivers Mall and St. Clair Square will be open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. until Friday, Dec. 23. On Saturday, Dec. 24, the malls’ hours will be 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The buildings will be closed on Sunday, Dec. 25. The malls will re-open at 8 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 26.

Mall retailers, restaurants and theaters with separate entrances may have different opening and closing times.

Extending the mall hours for the holiday season will help shoppers said a CBL & Associates Properties, Inc., spokesman in a news release. CBL owns and manages the five malls.

Regional Marketing Director Sean Phillips said “Our goal is to be as accommodating as possible to meet the needs of everyone’s hectic schedules. Longer hours help shoppers get exactly what they need for every person on their list!”

Monday, Dec. 19—8 a.m. to 11p.m.

Tuesday, Dec. 20—8 a.m. to 11p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 21—8 a.m. to 11p.m.

Thursday, Dec. 22—8 a.m. to 11p.m.

Friday, Dec. 23—8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 24—7 a.m.—6 p.m.

Sunday, Dec. 25—Closed

Monday, Dec. 26—8 a.m.-10p.m.
