Vacation Plans for $4 Gasoline

It's only four months away, Memorial Day. That day usually marks the end of the school year, the beginning of much warmer weather, and lots of vacations.

But analysts at GasBuddy.com, a pricing website, forecast gas prices to be at $4 per gallon by May 28, reports the St. Louis Business Journal website.

So how are Arnold residents planning to deal with the higher gas prices and their expected vacations.

We all know about the stay-at-home vacations. But are people finding more creative ways to deal with the issue?

Are readers reserving airplane tickets now, for their summer vacations, and locking in low prices? Are neighbors planning to take trips together? Have people found gas co-ops that lock in low gas prices for the rest of the year? Is Amtrak an alternative? Or has everyone decided to bike and camp along the Katy trail this year.
