• American Legion baseball coach honored (westnewsmagazine.com) — A longtime Ballwin American Legion baseball coach, Greg Soaib, has been inducted into the Missouri American Legion Baseball Hall of Fame after leading Ballwin Post 611 to multiple district and zone titles. The Ballwin-based program produced several future Major Leaguers and still draws dozens of former players and families back each year for an alumni game that celebrates their shared memories.
