• Citizens Memorial Hospital opens new dialysis center in Bolivar (ky3.com) — A new dialysis center has just opened at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, bringing advanced technology and more comfortable treatment spaces to local kidney patients. Staffed by specialized nurses and technicians, the facility will add a nephrology clinic next month, allowing residents to receive diagnosis, treatment, and long-term kidney care in one convenient Bolivar location. 
• New Support for Small Food and Farm Businesses (mykdkd.com) — A $1.58 million Patterson Family Foundation grant will boost New Growth’s support for small farm and food businesses across western Missouri and Kansas, including work coordinated from its Bolivar office. Bolivar-area producers could see new training, coaching, and grant opportunities aimed at expanding local food markets and strengthening rural economies.
