The Eureka American Legion Post 177 baseball team's season finally ended last weekend as they fell in the championship game the Rod A's of Blue Springs

However, going that far and racking up an impressive 37-13 record represents a remarkable accomplishment for the team, which had previously never advanced that deep in to the post-season, making for a memorable summer for the young players.
