• Eureka man arrested for suspicion of DWI after hitting mailbox (myleaderpaper.com) — Eureka Police report that a 60-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of DWI after allegedly striking a neighbor’s mailbox on Southern Hills Drive and later being found at home. Officers say he failed field sobriety tests, registered a high blood-alcohol level, and now faces municipal charges for DWI and leaving the scene of an accident.
   

• Frederick, SymSmith and Schutte Named to United Soccer Coaches All-South Teams (tulsahurricane.com) — A college soccer standout with roots in Eureka has been recognized among the best in the South Region. Sophomore forward Blaine Schutte, a Eureka native, earned All-South Third Team honors after a 20-point season, joining two Tulsa teammates who also received regional awards for their strong 2025 campaigns.
