• St. Francois County hosts one of nation's largest Shop with a Cop programs (firstalert4.com) — Hundreds of local kids just filled the aisles of Farmington’s Walmart for St. Francois County’s long-running Shop with a Cop program, one of the largest in the nation. More than 500 children received $125 to spend, often choosing gifts for family, while officers and first responders chipped in extra and built positive relationships. Community sponsors and donations keep the 30-year tradition going strong.
