Fenton Hosts Senior Citizen Prom on Friday
The Fenton Parks and Recreation event is Friday. Tickets are $10. Pre-registration is required. Call (636) 343-0067 to register.
For seniors, high school prom is that one epic night filled with memorable moments signaling the end of high school adolescence and hello to adulthood and college.
Thanks to the City of Fenton's Park and Recreation Department, seniors of a different sort get to enjoy the same prom.
A Senior Citizen's Prom is Friday, June 28, at the Riverchase Recreational Center. Adults 55 and older get to experience that high school moment all over again from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.There is dinner, dancing and fun to be had as DJ Russ Hilton provides music from the 40's, 50's and 60's. The "King of Rock N' Roll" is also said to be making a guest appearance.
A special meal will be served and prom pictures are included in the ticket price. A prom king and queen will also be announced at the end of the night.
