Fenton Man Stole $20,000 in Jewelry, Police Say

St. Louis County Police said Terry Carr burglarized a home in the 13100 block of Big Bend Road.

A Fenton man is accused of stealing several pieces of jewelry valued at nearly $20,000 from a West County home.

Terry Wayne Carr Jr, 32, of the 1200 block of Golden Dale Drive in Fenton, was charged Tuesday with second-degree burglary and felony theft.

St. Louis County Police said officers found that someone had pawned stolen jewelry at Gold Buyers in Fenton. The jewelry had been reported stolen in the 13100 block of Big Bend Road in unincorporated St. Louis County west of Kirkwood.

An investigation led to Carr and another man, police said. Carr admitted the burglary and theft, according to a court document.

Carr is being held in Jefferson County jail. Bail was set at $7,500 on the St. Louis County burglary charge.

Carr also faces a burglary charge in Jefferson County.
