Freedom Riders Prepare for Blessing of the Bikes
The Freedom of Road Riders (FORR) Local 24 is gearing up for the 27th anniversary of the event, which takes placeat Grand Slam Bar and Grill in Fenton on April 21.
The Freedom of Road Riders (FORR) Local 24 is kicking off its 27th anniversary of the Blessing of the Bikes at a Fenton restaurant on April 21, The Current News Magazine reports.
Stop by Grand Slam Bar and Grill, 319 Mae Ct., around 2 p.m. Organizers are expected up to 1,000 attendees at this year's event, which will include live music, food and drinks, and a bike show, according to the report.
"The event is dedicated to the late Rev. Bud Ball, who presided over the first Blessing of the Bikes in 1987," Current News Magazine reports.
